In reality, in 2023, US News and World Report ranked Bangladesh 40th in Power and 69th overall.

Bangladesh actually did better in 2023. In 2022, those rankings were 44th and 80th, respectively.

Despite this clear decline in both Power and overall rankings, media outlets controlled by Dr Yuus’s press wing is misleading the public by claiming a dramatic improvement.
