Once again, terrorism is rearing its head in Bangladesh. Whether under the names of ISIS, Hizb-ut-Tahrir, Hefazat, or Shibir, their objective is the same—to derail Bangladesh from the ideals of the Liberation War and pull it back toward the ideology of Pakistan. And one of the key patrons of this heinous conspiracy appears to be Dr. Yunus’s so-called “neutral” government.

Since Dr. Yunus came to power, extremist and terrorist groups seem to have found a new lease on life. On one hand, freedom fighters and progressive voices are being cornered. On the other, a new shadow terrorist outfit named the “Revolutionary Force” is conducting militant training across all districts of the country. In reality, this force is a fusion of banned Naxalite factions and Jamaat-linked militant groups.

Today, Bangladesh stands at a perilous crossroads. The crisis is not merely political or economic—it is existential. At the center of this crisis stands Dr. Yunus, the so-called neutral Chief Advisor, and the terrifying militant network that has taken shape under his shadow.

Just when the people had begun to hope for stability, a wave of weapons training, extremist propaganda, and emboldened anti-liberation forces began sweeping across the nation. That dangerous reality is now knocking at your door.

How This Militant Network is Being Built

According to confidential sources, in recent months, nearly 500,000 teenagers and young men across all 64 districts have received weapons training under the guise of an organization called “Student-People’s Defense Force.” This group is reportedly being trained in guerrilla warfare, modeled after the Afghan militant style.

Their Objectives
• Eliminate leaders aligned with the Liberation War
• Abolish the Constitution and establish an “Islamic Revolution”
• Replace the army and police with their own revolutionary force
• Destroy democratic governance and elected institutions

Who is Training Them
The training is being provided by dismissed Border Guard members, retired military personnel, and a notorious extremist leader known as Jihadi Zia.

Where the Money and Weapons Are Coming From
• The current government is allegedly financing this extremist resurgence
• Millions are being funneled in through illegal hundi networks from Pakistan
• Dollar donations are being sent by fundamentalist groups in the Middle East

It is believed that large shipments of illegal arms—including explosives, AK-47s, rifles, and grenades—have already arrived in Bangladesh from Pakistan and been distributed to these militant factions.

From Teenage Gangs to Armed Militants: The Transformation

In cities like Dhaka’s suburbs, Narayanganj, Comilla, Rajshahi, and Barisal, a new wave of teenage gangs is emerging. These groups are gradually being transformed into armed revolutionary militant forces.

They are being indoctrinated with religious propaganda, video-based training, distorted interpretations of Islamic caliphate ideals, and anti-liberation war disinformation. These groups have already established secret bases in almost every union (local administrative unit).

Who Are Their Political Sponsors
At the core of this disturbing development stands Dr. Yunus and his regime—who came to power without the people’s vote, who are relentlessly targeting pro-liberation forces, and who are using state institutions for political vengeance. These are the very actors now providing shelter to extremists.

This Conspiracy is Being Aided By:
• Jamaat-e-Islami and their student wing, Shibir
• The banned group Hizb-ut-Tahrir
• Hefazat-e-Islam
• The NCP party
• The BNP-Jamaat alliance’s old networks

Together, they are engaged in a vast, dangerous conspiracy.

What Could Be the Consequences
1. Bangladesh could descend into civil war
2. Relations with India could deteriorate
3. Bangladesh’s image on the global stage will be destroyed
4. Foreign investment will cease
5. Thousands of innocent civilians may fall victim to terrorism

The most frightening prospect: Bangladesh could turn into a second Afghanistan or Syria.

What is Jihadi Zia Doing on the Ground?

Jihadi Zia, a dismissed army officer, is currently leading the efforts to build this armed revolutionary force. He has openly stated, “We will bring about an Islamic revolution. We do not recognize democracy, the Constitution, or law and order.”

Under his command:
• Over 1,000 trainees are active in every district
• More than 3,000 armed militants are already prepared
• Plans are underway to launch attacks on the army and police in border regions

If this situation is not addressed immediately, violent conflict could spread nationwide within a very short time.

What Citizens Must Do
1. Stay alert and speak up if you see suspicious activities
2. Report any information to the authorities—do not stay silent
3. Use social media to raise awareness against extremism
4. Unite the forces that stand for the ideals of the Liberation War
5. Put pressure on political leaders to take a firm stand against this conspiracy
